Ratings:

Caballero: Unemployed. Distribution was fair: 7
Sagna: Decent defending, good attacking: 7
Demichelis: Largely untroubled, neat: 7
Mangala: Went close to scoring, quickly nullified whatever threat there was: 7
Kolarov: Two decent deliveries meant two assists: 7
Fernandinho: Good endeavour and reading of the game which helped us control midfield in the second half particularly, but not really stretched: 7
Navas: Scored the best goal of the night, showing great skill, and kindly teed up Pozo for a debut goal, when he, himself could have scored. Good man: 8
Lampard: As well as demonstrating his customary ability to arrive late in the box and score, his poise and intelligent passing in midfield as well as his Showed he has a good level of fitness to keep going for 90 minutes and stoppage time: 8
Yaya: Prompted and probed in midfield to good effect, playing the penultimate pass for the opening two goal. He gave his best. He was periodically briefly clutching the top of his right hamstring so hopefully that will not be anything serious : 7
Milner: All action, busy and creative, he covered so much ground. He deserved a goal and went close when he hit the left hand post in the second half: 8
Dzeko: Bagged a brace expertly. Had one almost comical spell when he went on a run and collided with two Wednesday defenders, yet the ball broke back to him: 7
