City name 21 man Champions League squad
With Alvaro Negredo on a season long loan to Valencia it was one problem less for Pellegrini as he scribbled down his UEFA Champions League squad. Room was made for newcomers Caballero, Mangala, Sagna, Fernando and Lampard, while Nastasic was not mentioned, although this was not required due to him being below 21.
The full 21 man squad:
Goalkeepers: Hart, Caballero
Defenders: Sagna, Kompany, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Mangala, Clichy, Demichelis, Boyata
Midfielders: Fernando, Milner, Nasri, Navas, Lampard, Silva, Fernandinho, Toure
Strikers: Dzeko, Aguero, Jovetic.
