Why Blue?
To be perfectly truthful, I have no idea why I became a Manchester City fan. The whole of my sad Man United loving family are all Reds so, I don’t know what possessed me. Maybe it was divine inspiration or maybe I just like being different.
Whatever it was I would not swap, I’m a true Blue through and through. I have been going for 20 years on and off, and I have never had the pleasure of them winning anything; I am now 33 years of age and have brought my children the City way, and have taught them that Man United is a dirty word.
My biggest thrill was when we beat the scum 5-1; I was stood in the Kippax, and my lowest point – well there have been too many, Man United or Simon Tracey 5-0 or appointing Alan Ball.
That’s it, hopefully City might win something one day before I die; yes we City fans have always been eternal optimists.
