Another woeful performance! <- I’m thinking of pasting this into the MCIVTA template so that I don’t have to keep writing it every issue! It’s the AGM this Thursday so it’s odds on that Frannie will announce something then, if only to deflate/deflect the inevitable criticism which will be directed at the board.

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS vs. MANCHESTER CITY, Sunday 1st December 1996

How times change. We used to go to matches which kicked off at 3pm on Saturdays. This time it was 2:10pm on a Sunday, or rather 2:13pm on a Sunday because our balloons had to be cleared off the pitch. City lined up with a straight 4-4-2 which had one change from the side that beat Wolves’ Black Country rivals West Brom on Wednesday, Jeff Whitley in for the injured Heaney.
