Why Blue?
My story of why I am a Blue is kind of an odd one. It was back in 1992 when my dad said he was going to England to visit relatives. We live in Canada, but my dad is from England and supports Huddersfield Town (long story!).
Anyway, I was 12 years old at the time and I said how cool it would be if he could bring me back a football shirt of any team. Well… he did and it was a blue Brother shirt. From that day on I have been a true Blue. I have been through it all! From the Division 2 stint to the heroics against Gillingham at Wembley. I think my dad wishes he would have bought me a Huddersfield shirt now!
Since that day in 1992 when I got my first Man City shirt, I have since bought three others. Needless to say my room is covered with Manchester City stuff. I act like a kid and I am 22 years old! I have only been to one City match. It was back in 1999 when they were playing Nottingham Forest. We won 1-0! It is amazing how one soccer shirt has turned me into a City fanatic!
