Steve Dormer
Why Blue?
I have been a City fan all of my life, as a matter of fact my first nappy was a United one so I could crap all over it. I moved to Canada when I was 3 and ever since I can remember I couldn’t wait for the Sunday paper to come to see how we did. I am now 30 and my heart still belongs at Maine Road. I find that the hardest part in leaving England is the fact that I must drive past the ground on the way to the airport. I don’t think I ever recover from the heartache until I have booked my flight again to go back home. I remember going to all the games I could on my 4-week long visits and getting my ageing grandad to take me to games all over the countryside. The game I remember the most is a game possibly in 1980 against Man.U and a kid called Steve Mackenzie scored on a cracking drive to win the game 1-0. I know how bad things have gotten and I can just pray that it will just get better.
Well that’s just a bit from Canada so up the Blues!
