It looks like we are having a Winter break whether or not the league sees fit to introduce one; needless to say, the game was cancelled on Saturday due to the weather. It’s probably no bad thing as it gives Clark more time to get the team into shape. The draw for the next round of the FA Cup nearly gave us all a coronary as City were drawn at home with only a few teams left and one of these was our friendly neighbours from Salford!

GMR reports that Paul Warhurst should sign for us on loan in time for Saturday’s game. The rumour mill persists in linking us to Lee Clark with Kinky as part of an exchange deal; a deal for Clough is also reportedly being hammered out.

Apart from this, we have a new international call up (!), the vote for Player of the Month (December), plenty of opinion and another Why Blue.

NEWS – BRENTFORD GAME REARRANGED

City’s F.A. Cup tie at Brentford on Saturday was postponed due to the frozen pitch. It has now been rearranged for Tuesday 14th January. This will come as good news for Uwe R
