The Birmingham game was called off so there was no action on the pitch on New Year’s Day and there’s been precious little off the pitch today. However, more transfer rumours are surfacing, with at least one based on fact: Clark was speaking on the radio today announcing his interest in one of our old boys – Paul Warhurst. Maybe his masterplan is to buy all our old players – not bad! Other than that there isn’t much in the way of opinion etc, I guess most people have still to recover from Xmas, at least as far as Internet access is concerned. There is however, another Why Blue – good as usual – as well as a very succinct one!

This is the last Why Blue that I’ve had stacked away so please get writing more!

NEWS – SNIPPETS

City are being linked with Nottingham Forest striker Chris Bart-Williams.

Jeff Whitley has turned down the chance to play for Zambia (his birthplace) after being named in their World Cup squad.

City have refused Nottingham Forest permission to use on-loan Nigel Clough in their F.A. Cup tie on Saturday, thus preventing him from being cup-tied.

City’s game at Birmingham on Wednesday will only be postponed if there is heavy snow an hour before kick-off since the pitch will be covered until then.
