The MCIVTA Newsletter
Read
the latest news about the blues submitted by the fans
themselves in the MCIVTA bi-weekly
electronic Newsletter. The newsletter and the
Supporters Homepage is no-cost, and completely ad
free. MCIVTA is edited and provided by a small
group of loyal City-Supporters, but is not connected
to the club or any other related organisation in any
way. It was started by Ashley Birch back in 1994,
at the same time as the Supporters Homepage was established,
and Ashley served as Editor until 2001 when our current
Editor; Heidi Pickup took over. If you want more information
about the newsletter you should check out the early
MCIVTA-history. In celebration of the 10th year
and issue number 1000, former City Chairman John
Wardle and star player Shaun
Wright-Phillips agreed to give two exclusive interviews.

The NEW City kits 2009/10
Another short lived adventure with Le Coq Sportif, the second in a decade. And now a completely new sponsor (Etihad Airways) and the return of an old familiar face as kit manufacturer (Umbro).
Umbro is back for the first time since the mid nineties. And the new kits do look promising. The first kit is ultra traditional with a white round neck, the eagle crest to the left and the Umbro-logo to the right. The new sponsors name "Etihad" is splashed over the front centre. The same setup is found on the new black 2nd shirt. It has yellow trims on the shoulders and down the sides. The 3rd shirt is another retro design with red and black diagonal stripes on a white background. One unique feature of this shirt is that the sponsors name is toned down and placed just below the Eagle crest, as to not interfere with the design. Superb stuff!
