Ended the season as joint top scorer with David Phillips and eventually moved to Oldham Athletic after 49 appearances (3 as sub), scoring 15 goals. After a spell in Europe he retired in '88 and became assistant manager at St Mirren. Currently works in Glasgow Rangers Commercial Department. Will forever be known as: 'And Smith must score' referring to his miss in the 1983 FA Cup Final against Manchester United.
