Newsletter #1719

A mini issue tonight due to the Liverpool game (and more of that no doubt on Thursday) with requests from Blues around the UK and overseas.

After one of the players last week told a group of supporters that the team weren’t yet thinking of Wembley as they were concentrating on Liverpool, we can only hope Mancini bucks up his ideas in time for Saturday.

Next Game: Manchester United, away, 5.15pm Saturday 16 April 2011 (FA Cup)

REQUEST: NORTH AMERICAN BLUES

This is a call to any supporters’ associations or just informal gatherings of Blues in north east America or eastern Canada.

I am based in Montreal and I have a few places I can watch the semi-final. However, I have no fellow Blues to watch it with. And I’m sure you will empathise that a match of such significance is best watched with people of the same ilk.

I know there is an association in NY and I assume they will be gathering. If any one from said association is reading this please contact me, as my current plan is to mosey on down to New York, New York and hopefully watch the match… And celebrate with you!

Or if any one from Montreal is reading, get in touch… Could be the start of a new branch?

Failing that… Toronto? Boston? Burlington? Other places?

REQUEST: SWANSEA BLUES

I live in Swansea and am wondering whether there are any Blues that meet up for travel to the games or to watch the games from here?

REQUEST: FA CUP TICKET

I am a Middlesex based Blue looking for two tickets for the FA Cup semi-final. I am a Citycard holder but alas with only a 30,000 allocation guys like me cannot get hold of these tickets.

Alas I know this is a shot in the dark but it is worth crossing my toes over.
