Walshy made all the difference when he (and Uwe) helped City stay in the Premier Division in the 93/94 season. He also made a flying start to his next season at the club, scoring a number of goals in some of Citys best games. Not bad for a player who's been around since the late 70ies. He started his career with Charlton as a 17-year-old before moving to Luton, Liverpool, Tottenham, Portsmouth and finally our beloved City. Paul has also three England caps, the last one against Australia in 1984.
At start of the 95/96 season Walsh went to Portsmouth, in a swap (+money) deal which brought Gerry Creaney to Maine Road.
