Michael joined BMG when he was 19 and became an international player at the age of 20. He played for Stuttgart after that for a while and won the league with them in 1992. He then went onto the 2nd division and played for Bochum but returned to BMG last year; his form has been very good but we don't know his reasons for wanting to leave, perhaps a change that's all.

Frontzeck is 6ft 2inches, has made over 350 Bundesliga appearances, has 20 full international and 20 U-21 caps, has played in 35 European Cup ties, and was a member of the 1990 World Cup winning squad.

By all accounts he will be a very good asset at left back as he is naturally left footed. I think for the money he will be well worth it.
