Newsletter #858

A bumper issue tonight beginning with Sarah’s news summary. We have a couple of match reports from Chelsea and an excellent outing by our second string in the mini derby when we thumped Manchester United 5-0 on a very wet and windy Tuesday night in Hyde, an excellent game to witness after our recent first team débâcles.

There is also plenty of opinion on teams, formations, and a fair few varied requests for you all to ponder.

We travel down to the West Midlands for the first of two games against our fellow promoted teams this Saturday, which will prove an interesting benchmark of our true level prior to the real derby in a couple of weeks’ time.

Next game: Birmingham City, away, 3pm Saturday 26 October 2002
